L’OCCITANE MALAYSIA launched its first charity fundraising for local blindness prevention projects since year 2009. By working closely with Malaysia Association For The Blind (MAB), Malaysian Foundation For The Blind (MFB), St Nicholas’ Home Penang, Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital & SPEC TRUCK, Hospital Sultanah
Aminah JB X Red Crescent, Rotary Club & Department of Ophthalmology Hospital Kuala Lumpur X College of Ophthalmologists, Academy of Medicines Malaysia and Pertubuhan Mata Kasih Kuala Lumpur to combat avoidable blindness in Malaysia.
Over the previous years, L’OCCITANE MALAYSIA & The FOUNDATION team have raised & channeled more than RM1,556,983 to many different sight saving projects such as eye screenings and glasses prescription, cataract surgeries that helped the deserving communities to detect early eyesight problems and loss of sight. We also equipped the visually impaired with educational tools to improve their daily living and learning skills. Many awareness programs also conducted to raise importance of proper eye care for blindness prevention. To date, we have helped more than 52,887 Malaysians in getting better eye care services.

2,500 people have joined us in supporting this meaningful cause for the first time in Penang!
RM50,000 donated to St. Nicholas’ Home Penang to help B40 communities in need of cataract surgeries.
